“Suncoast” begins streaming February 9th on Hulu, via Searchlight Pictures.
Inspired by the semi-autobiographical story of a teenager Doris (Nico Parker), who, while caring for her brother along with her audacious mother (Laura Linney), strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist (Woody Harrelson) who is protesting one of the most landmark medical cases of all time.
The film stars Laura Linney as Kristine, Woody Harrelson as Paul Warren, Keyla Monterosso Mejia as Nurse Mia, Ella Anderson as Brittany, Amarr as Nate, Nico Parker as Doris, Matt Walsh as Mr. Ladd, Scott MacArthur as Sweet N’ Low, Daniella Taylor as Laci and Ariel Martin as Megan Kaminski.
Written and directed by Laura Chinn, and produced by Jeremy Plager, Francesca Silvestri, Kevin Chinoy, and Oly Obst. Executive producers are Chris Stinson, Amy Greene, and Anna Schwartz.
